Following on from my post last week about the amazing shoot we did, at Second Empire restaurant in Raleigh, I thought I'd give you a little behind the scenes look at what goes down in a busy restaurant during service.

Chef Scott and his team were fantastic as they produced dish after dish with amazing consistency. If you've ever eaten at this restaurant (and if you haven't you should) you will have tasted the delights that this team produce.

They allowed us full access during a packed evening at the restaurant and we had such a fun time and they all made us feel really welcome.

Food Photography Cary, NC

If your looking for somewhere new to eat, you should check out Dean's Seafood and Grill  in Cary, NC. We were really pleased to be asked to be asked by their ad agency, Mojo, to head over there and photograph their food for a new menu. Dean's is owned by one of our favorite catering companies, Rocky Top so it was no surprise to find the quality of the food was excellent. What did surprise me though, was that as well as the excellent selection of seafood, there was also an amazing array of steaks and other grilled meats on offer.

Now anyone who knows me knows how much i like my steak, but when chef brought our a 23oz Bone-in Rib-eye for me to photograph my jaw dropped. I will be posting more photos from the shoot on my website in the near future, but i thought that i would just give a sneak peek at this amazing dish. Enjoy............
