Commercial Photography Raleigh, NC

I love doing architecture and building photography. It was one of my favorite subjects at college. Recently we've been photographing a lot of apartment complexes in North Carolina and I've been putting those skills to good use. We are working for a company called Greystar and they have over 40 properties in our area. We've completed 3 shoots but have many more to go. Here are some examples of one we shot the other week. Its called Devon Apartments and is the sister property to Seven 12 in the Glenwood South area of Raleigh. If your looking for an apartment in this trendy downtown area, you should certainly check this out, the staff are wonderful and the apartments and amenities are gorgeous..

Building and Food Photography Raleigh

Well we’ve had an incredibly busy few weeks with our commercial photography in Raleigh and all over the Triangle. Photographing corporate head shots, apartment complexes, restaurants, hotels, food and products.

We also have another crazy busy month coming up with shoots not only in the Triangle but we’ll also be traveling to Wilmington, Charlotte & Pinehurst.

One of my favorite shoots this past month has been at the just opened “Rye” restaurant at the Downtown Marriot in Raleigh. This has been an ongoing project as we started shooting the food photography, for the new menu, last year. For this latest shoot we were asked shoot some more food and the interior photography of the restaurant as well. This combines two of my favorite photography genres: food photography and architectural photography.

If you haven’t had a chance to visit it is a beautiful space and Chef Michael Rigot’s food is exceptional. He’s taken the “Farm to Table” concept and put a real southern twist on it.

Here are some of the images from the shoot showing the space and the food.

I can’t wait to go back for the one.

Corporate Portrait Raleigh

We were out again last week doing a photo shoot for the cover of Triangle Attorney at Law Magazine. The photo shoot was with one of Raleigh's most experienced litigators Kieran Shanahan.  This was a really fun shoot as we followed Kieran and his staff firstly at his law offices in Raleigh and then to his horse farm in North Raleigh. I found out that we are actually neighbors and his wife, Tina, is not only a Rear Admiral in the US Navy, she is also a multiple world and National Champion equestrian. This is one of my favorites from the day.

Editorial Photography Raleigh

We've been doing a lot of shooting for Attorney At Law magazine recently. We've been photographing some of the most eminent lawyers throughout the Triangle. Last week however, the editor asked to meet us at North Carolina's Supreme Court. The person we were about to photograph was Justice Robin Hudson. This was a real thrill to photograph in such a beautiful building and such a prominent subject. The images from the shoot will be released in the next edition of Attorney At Law magazine, but with the editor's permission I just wanted to share my favorite shot from the day.

Food Photography Durham and Raleigh

We were really pleased to once again be asked to photograph the food for the caterer's who appear in this years Southern Bride & Groom Magazine. Throughout the 3-day shoot we had the pleasure of working with some of the region's leading catering companies. The catering companies we photographed for were: Donovan's DishRocky Top, Catering Works,  Ladyfingers, Empire Eats,  Parizade, Southern Harvest and The Garden on Millbrook.

This year the them of the shoot was "Small Plates" and some of the dishes that the restaurants and Catering companies produced were outstanding. Clients hiring these companies for their events in 2015 are going to have some fabulous menu items to choose from. The client liked the photos so much that they decided to lay it out over six spreads in the magazine.
